He Loves You and Your company

When you take time to talk to God by yourself it is like going on to a mountaintop and talking to Him.

This time in your life will prove to be very helpful.

Through your prayer time...
You will continue to trust in God more and more

And he will bless you more because you have given him your trust. And you will believe His truths more.

And this is what God wants from you

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Here is a great way to begin...

Remember how much Jesus cares for you.

He knows your present circumstances. He knows your very thoughts. And He is calling to you now: “Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

Rest—real rest—from the burdens of life, is what Jesus Christ offers you. Rest from fear and guilt, from worry and frustration, from loneliness and disappointment.

If you are struggling under life’s pressures, He offers to bear your burdens with you: “Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:29-30).

If you are searching for peace of mind and soul, He offers you His peace: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).

Yes, Jesus cares for you. He, God the Son, became a man to redeem you from the consequences of sin. In His 33 years on earth He suffered rejection, abuse and cruelty. He endured hunger, thirst and pain. And He died upon the Cross of Calvary to fulfill God’s plan of salvation: “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). When He arose from the grave He triumphed over sin and death, promising all who will receive Him: “Because I live, ye shall live also” (John 14:19).

You can be sure that this very moment Jesus cares for you and wants to meet your needs. For the risen Savior is both God and man: being man He understands your every need; being God He is able to deliver you.

Because Jesus is the risen Son of God, He has power to forgive your sins and give you new, eternal life: “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Because Jesus lived upon earth as a man, He understands your feelings and needs. Through His Spirit He offers you inner peace and strength. Through His people He offers encouragement and companionship. Through His Word, the Bible, He reveals a new way of living in harmony with God and man. And He Himself stands at the right hand of God in Heaven representing those who have put their trust in Him. “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).

Yes, come to Jesus Christ today. Receive Him as your Savior and Friend. Then you too can know that truth, power and sympathy are found in one glorious Person, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

You must "believe in your heart" that Jesus is God, that He paid for your sins. With a sincere heart come to Him and He will forgive all your sins and give you eternal life. Jesus Christ is the only Mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5).

Would you like to be forgiven for all your sins and live with God forever? Then tell God you want Jesus as your Saviour and Lord of your life. He'll do it if you really mean it. Here is an example prayer for you to tell God:

Dear Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and cannot save myself. I do believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died on the cross in my place for my sins and rose from the dead to give me salvation. You made a way for me to live with you forever in heaven. I now accept the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, trusting Him alone to give me eternal life and a relationship with you. I do now choose to follow Him. I want you Jesus to be the leader of my life every day. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for me and being my Lord and Savior. I love you Jesus. Amen.

Here are some wonderful
prayers that you can pray

(remember prayer is talking and listening to God)

He will show you what he wants for you.

He will let you know what you should do.

And He will help you along the way and meet you no matter what road you are on.

The most important prayer is to trust in Jesus as your Lord of your Life . To trust in Jesus as you personal saviour. He came to save that which was lost.

If you have ever felt lost he will help you find your way

He is the good Shephard.

Here are the prayers that can help you and others around you...

There are lots of prayers in the bible and each one will help!

Prayers from the Bible

I thank you Father in the name of Jesus Christ for the faith in the church. (Romans 1:8)

I thank you my God always for the grace of God which was given to the church by Christ Jesus. I thank you that they are enriched in everything by You in all utterance and in all knowledge, so that they come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus Christ, you will confirm them to the end, that they may be blameless in the day of Your coming. (1 Cor. 1:4-8)

I thank you Father for the church. I ask you, Father of glory, to give the church the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I ask that the eyes of their understanding will be enlightened; that they may know what is the hope of Your calling, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power toward us who believe, according to the working of Your mighty power which You worked in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. (Eph. 1:16-21)

I bow my knees to You, Father, that you would grant the church, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith; that they, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that they may be filled with all the fullness of God. Lord,

you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Eph. 3:14-20)

I thank you God every time I remember the church, always in every prayer of mine I would like to make request for them with joy. (Php. 1:3,4)

I pray, Lord that their love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that they may approve the things that are excellent, that they may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. (Php. 1:9-11)

Ask God for wisdom (James 1:5)

A few of these prayers have been PERSONALIZED for more effective praying.

Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me: fight against those who fight against me. Take up shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid. Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me.

Say to my soul, "I am your salvation." May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay. May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the Lord driving them away; may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them. Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me, may ruin overtake them by surprise -- may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.

Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation. My whole being will exclaim, "Who is like You, O Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them." (Psalm 35:1-10)

I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before You. For You have upheld my right and my cause; You have sat on Your throne, judging righteously. You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name for ever and ever. Endless ruin has overtake the enemy, You have uprooted their cities; even the memory of them has perished.

You reign forever; You have established Your throne for judgment. You will judge the world in righteousness; You will govern the peoples with justice. You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You. (Psalm 9:1-10) (Personalized)

Lord, You are my light and my salvation -- whom shall I fear? You are the stronghold of my life -- of whom shall I be afraid? When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.

One thing I ask You Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in Your house all the days of my life, to gaze upon Your beauty and seek You in Your temple. For in the day of trouble You will keep me safe in Your dwelling; You will hide me in the shelter of Your tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.

Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at Your tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord. Hear my voice when I call, O Lord, be merciful to me. (Psalm 27:1-7) (Personalized)

In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in Your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Since You are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of Your name lead and guide me. Free me from the trap that is set for me, for You are my refuge. Into Your hands I commit my spirit; redeem me, O Lord, the God of truth. I hate those who cling to worthless idols; I trust in the Lord. I will be glad and rejoice in Your love, for You saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place.

Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief. My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction and my bones grow weak (Psalm 31:1-10)

How great is Your goodness, which You have stored up for those who fear you, which You bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in You. (verse 19)

I will extol You Lord at all times; Your praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in You Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Be glorified Lord; I exalt Your name.

I sought You Lord, and He answered me; You deliver me from all my fears. Those who look to You are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. I called and You heard me; You saved me out of all my troubles.

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him. Fear the Lord, you His saints, for those who fear Him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. (Psalm 34:1-10) (Personalized)

I wait patiently for You Lord; You turn to me and hear my cry. You lift me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; You set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. You put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to You God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.

How blessed I am when I make You my trust, and do not look to the proud, or turn aside to false gods. Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders You have done. The things You planned for us no one can recount to You; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.

Sacrifice and offering You do not desire, but my ears You have pierced, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require. Then I said, "Here I am, I have come -- it is written about me in the scroll. I desire to do your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart." (Psalm 40:1-8) (Personalized)

Do not withhold Your mercy from me, O Lord; may Your love and Your truth always protect me. For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head and my heart fails within me. Be pleased, O Lord, to save me; O Lord, come quickly to help me. (verses 11-13)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned and done what is evil in Your sight, so that You are proved right when You speak and justified when You judge. Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. Surely You desire truth in the inner parts; You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones You have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:1-10)

In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. Rescue me and deliver me in Your righteousness; turn Your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for You are my rock and my fortress. Deliver me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the grasp of evil and cruel men.

For You have been my hope, O Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on You; You brought me forth from my mother's womb I will ever praise You. (Psalm 71:1-6)

May my cry come before You, O Lord; give me understanding according to Your word. May my supplication come before You; deliver me according to Your promise. May my lips overflow with praise, for You teach me Your decrees. May my tongue sing of Your word, for all Your commands are righteous. May Your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen Your precepts.

I long for Your salvation, O Lord, and Your law is my delight. Le me live that I may praise You and may Your laws sustain me. I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek Your servant for I have not forgotten your commands. (Psalm 119:169-176)

I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen [me] with power through his Spirit in [my] inner being, so that Christ may dwell in [my heart] through faith. And I pray that [I], being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge -- that I may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all [I] ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work with [me], to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21) (Personalized)

Hymns for your Heart

SWEET HOUR OF PRAYER

"Pray continually." 1 Thessalonians 5:17

-------------------

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
That calls me from a world of care,
And bids me at my Father's throne
Make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
My soul has often found relief
And oft escaped the tempter's snare
By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
The joys I feel, the bliss I share,
Of those whose anxious spirits burn
With strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
Where God my Savior shows His face,
And gladly take my station there,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
Thy wings shall my petition bear
To Him whose truth and faithfulness
Engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since He bids me seek His face,
Believe His Word and trust His grace,
I'll cast on Him my every care,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
May I thy consolation share,
Till, from Mount Pisgah's lofty height,
I view my home and take my flight:
This robe of flesh I'll drop and rise
To seize the everlasting prize;
And shout, while passing through the air,
"Farewell, farewell, sweet hour of prayer!"

DID YOU THINK TO PRAY?

"Pray continually." 1 Thessalonians 5:17

-------------------

Ere you left your room this morning,
Did you think to pray?
In the name of Christ our Savior,
Did you sue for loving favor,
As a shield today?

O how praying rests the weary!
Prayer will change the night to day;
So when life seems dark and dreary,
Don't forget to pray.

When you met with great temptation,
Did you think to pray?
By His dying love and merit,
Did you claim the Holy Spirit
As your guide and stay?

When your heart was filled with anger,
Did you think to pray?
Did you plead for grace, my brother,
That you might forgive another
Who had crossed your way?

When sore trials came upon you,
Did you think to pray?
When your soul was bowed in sorrow,
Balm of Gilead did you borrow
At the gates of day?
