Did you know God has a wonderful plan for you? “I have come,” Jesus says, “that [you] may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Here’s what God’s Word, the Bible, says about this Good News.

1. God’s Plan—Peace and Life
God loves you and wants you to fully experience the peace and life that only He can give. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

2. Humanity’s Problem—Separation
Being at peace with God is not automatic, because human beings by nature are separated from God. The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Romans 6:23 adds: “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Humanity has tried to bridge this separation in many ways . . . but without hope of ever succeeding.

3. God’s Remedy—The Cross
God’s love bridges the gap of separation between God and humanity. When Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave, He paid the penalty for our sins. In the Bible, Jesus Christ says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

4. Our Response—Receive Jesus Christ
God invites us to respond to His love by crossing the bridge through trusting Jesus Christ. This means accepting Christ’s death on the cross as payment for our personal sins and receiving Him as our Savior and Lord. The Bible says, “To all who received him [Jesus Christ], to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).

God Invites You To:
Repent (turn from your sins), by faith receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life, and follow Him in obedience as the Lord of your life.Will You Say Yes To Life? Then Pray:
O God, I know I am a sinner. Right now I repent and turn from my sins. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins, rose from the grave, and is alive forever. I open the door of my heart and life, receiving Jesus Christ as my Savior. I want to follow Him as Lord of my life. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Our Lord Fights for us...

Deuteronomy 7:1 [ Warnings ] " When the LORD your God brings you into the land where you are entering to possess it, and clears away many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and stronger than you,

God doesn't look at man's strength, but at his people's heart.

Deuteronomy 20:1 [ Laws of Warfare ] "When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you.

In war, do not be afraid, because the Lord is with you.

Judges 5:8 7"The peasantry ceased, they ceased in Israel, Until I, Deborah, arose, Until I arose, a mother in Israel. 8"New gods were chosen; Then war was in the gates. Not a shield or a spear was seen Among forty thousand in Israel. 9"My heart goes out to the commanders of Israel, The volunteers among the people; Bless the LORD!

When we put other things before God (new gods are followed), then comes war. …And our heart goes out to those people who are struggling

Judges 20:18 [ Civil War, Benjamin Defeated ] Now the sons of Israel arose, went up to Bethel, and inquired of God and said, "Who shall go up first for us to battle against the sons of Benjamin?" Then the LORD said, "Judah shall go up first."

God gives us direction as to how we should go to battle

The Lord Himself puts our enemies under our feet

1 Chronicles 5:20 20They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hand; for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him.

When we cry to God in battle to help us, he answers our prayer when we trust in him

1 Chronicles 28:3 "But God said to me, ' You shall not build a house for My name because you are a man of war and have shed blood.'

God recognizes that some wars must be fought God loves the lives of all people and does not want any to be lost -Note Freedom is not free …And we are thankful to God for all the men and women who have given their lives for our freedom

2 Chronicles 13:14 14When Judah turned around, behold, they were attacked both front and rear; so they cried to the LORD, and the priests blew the trumpets. 15Then the men of Judah raised a war cry, and when the men of Judah raised the war cry, then it was that God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. 16When the sons of Israel fled before Judah, God gave them into their hand.

When we are attacked, and cry to the Lord, he hears us…God moves mountains today

Jeremiah 21:4 3Then Jeremiah said to them, "You shall say to Zedekiah as follows: 4'Thus says the LORD God of Israel, "Behold, I am about to turn back the weapons of war which are in your hands, with which you are warring against the king of Babylon and the Chaldeans who are besieging you outside the wall; and I will gather them into the center of this city. 5"I Myself will war against you with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm, even in anger and wrath and great indignation.

God fights for his people to protect them and is against their enemies Vengence is mine says the Lord

The Lord is our Warrior!

God wants you to be victorious

Leviticus 26:7-8 And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. And five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Proverbs 21:31 The horse is prepared for the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD.

He will keep you safe from enduring harm

Romans 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh:

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

1 Timothy 1:18 This charge I commit unto you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which were made concerning you, that you by them might war a good warfare;

What a Friend we have in Jesus

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer. Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer! In His arms He'll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.

Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised Thou wilt all our burdens bear May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer. Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there.
