People who feel their heavy burdens and helplessness, and who long for help and for God to save them from their problems... such people are in the right condition to be met and blessed by God.

Isaiah 61:1 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

 

What does it mean to be oppressed?

Webster's Dictionary

1. To load or burden with unreasonable impositions; to treat with unjust severity, rigor or hardship; as, to oppress a nation with taxes or contributions; to oppress one by compelling him to perform unreasonable service.

3. to sit or lie heavy on; as, excess of good oppresses the stomach.

The Good News for you is that Jesus wants to make it better...and not only better, He wants to use that to help you.

"Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"...these were the words of our help along the way...Jesus

If you want to be helped by Jesus he is standing at the door of your heart. That's right...

He wants to come into your life and make you a child of God himself. And since Jesus is the key to that door, all you need to do is believe on him the way the bible says...

John 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

If you have not yet believed on Jesus here is how to do it...

Dear God, I am sorry for the bad things I do. Thank You for sending Jesus to pay the penalty for my doing wrong. I now confess before you that I make Jesus the Lord of my life. Please change me on the inside and help keep me from doing bad so I can live a clean, new life for You. Amen.
