Psalms 34:3 (KJV) 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

together...

In great and high thoughts of God, which we should express in magnifying God and exalting his name...

We cannot make God greater or higher than he is. And if we adore him as infinitely great, and higher than the highest, he is pleased to find joy in us magnifying and exalting him.

This we must do together...

God's praises sound best in concert, so we praise him as the angels do in heaven together.

Those that share in God's favour, as all believers do, should agree in his praises and be desirous of returning thanks for His great mercies which are new every morning.

We have reason to join in thanksgiving to God
