Colossians
1:16-17
For
by him were all things created, that are in heaven,
and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether
they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities,
or powers:
all
things were created by him, and for him: And he is
before all things, and by him all things are held
together.

A Walk with God...
Genesis
1:
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void;
and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit
of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided
the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called
Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in
the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from
the waters.
7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which
were under the firmament from the waters which were above
the firmament: and it was so.
8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and
the morning were the second day.

9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven
be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land
appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together
of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth
vegetation, the plants yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding
fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth:
and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth vegetation, and plants yielding
seed after their kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose
seed was in itself, after its kind: and God saw that it was
good.

13 And the evening and the morning were the
third day.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the
heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for
signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven
to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule
the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the
stars also.
17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give
light upon the earth,
18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide
the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth
abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that
may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
21 And God created great sea creatures, and every living thing
that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after
their kind, and every winged fowl after its kind: and God
saw that it was good.
22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply,
and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in
the earth.
23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth
living creatures after their kinds, cattle, and creeping things,
and beasts of the earth after their kinds: and it was so.
25 And God made the beasts of the earth after their kinds,
and cattle after their kinds, and every thing that creeps
upon the earth after its kind: and God saw that it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish
of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle,
and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that
creeps upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God
created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful,
and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it: and have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the
air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant bearing
seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree,
which has seed in its fruit; to you it shall be for food.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the
air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein
there is life, I have given every green plant for food: and
it was so.
31 And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it
was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth
day.

How
great is our God...?
Deuteronomy 4:7
For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto
them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon
him for?
God makes us a great people because he never leaves us
Deuteronomy 5:24
And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory
and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the
midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk
with man, and he liveth.
Deuteronomy 32:3
Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness
unto our God.
Joshua 24:17
For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our
fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage,
and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved
us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people
through whom we passed:
2 Samuel 7:22
Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like
thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all
that we have heard with our ears.
2 Chronicles 2:5
And the house which I build is great: for great is our God
above all gods.

…whatever we PUT BEFORE The Lord

Let's
trust in God...
Let's
trust in the God of the bible that created all things. Afterall
nothing is too hard for him. And he wants to be there for
us just as we are. And he has the power to hold us up. He
has the power to protect us and save us.
Jeremiah
32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the
earth by your great power and outstretched arm, and there
is nothing too hard for you:
Jeremiah
32:27
Behold,
I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too
hard for me?

Joining
the Family of God
You
are invited to join the family of God the creator of all things.
And to enjoy all its blessings for now and eternity.
Did you know that God has already sent a special invitation
to you? He doesn't require that you dress up to approach Him
or turn over a new leaf to impress Him. You can come just
as you are. Yet this is the most important invitation you
will ever receive.
The Bible gives God's open invitation: "Seek ye the Lord while
He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near" (Isaiah
55:6). Jesus Himself invites you, "Come unto me, ye that labor
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" ( Matthew 11:28).
Are you afraid to come to Him, fearful that you won't measure
up? The truth is, He already knows each of us inside and out-our
strengths and potential, our fears and weaknesses. He also
knows all the things that we would like to hide from Him…and
from the rest of the world! Yet God, who is totally pure and
holy and who hates our sins, still loves us. He wants us to
turn in belief to Him "from darkness to light… that
[we] may receive forgiveness of sins" (Acts 26:18). Jesus
said, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall
not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life" (John
8:12).
To make forgiveness possible while still meeting the demands
of justice, God's perfect Son, Jesus Christ, died in our place.
We no longer have to suffer the punishment we deserve for
our sins. Instead, Jesus promises that "He that heareth my
word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath eternal life,
and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death
unto life" (John 5:24), from sin's darkness to God's eternal
light!
God invites you to enjoy new life in His family, beginning
the moment you trust Him as your Savior: "But as many as received
Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on His name" (John 1:12). Will you receive
Him into your life now-or will you risk missing all He offers
you for eternity?
God is inviting you. How will you respond?
If you wish to become a child of the God of the universe,
here is an example prayer. Remember you have to mean it from
your heart (because that is what God sees).
Dear
God, I am sorry for the bad things I do. Thank You for sending
Jesus to pay the penalty for my doing wrong. I now confess
before you that I make Jesus the Lord of my life. Please change
me on the inside and help keep me from doing bad so I can
live a clean, new life for You. Amen.
What
does the bible say about...
...How
Great is our God?
Nehemiah
9:32
Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible
God, who keepest covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble
seem little before thee, that hath come upon us, on our kings,
on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and
on our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the
kings of Assyria unto this day.
Psalm 48:1
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of
our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
Psalm 77:13
Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God
as our God?
Psalm 135:5
For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above
all gods.
Isaiah 42:17
They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed,
that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images,
Ye are our gods.
When we turn to other things instead of God we will be ashamed
Daniel 9:18
O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and
behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy
name: for we do not present our supplications before thee
for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
We pray to God because of his great mercies
Titus 2:13
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing
of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Hebrews 4:14
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed
into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our
profession.
Hebrews 13:20
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our
Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the
blood of the everlasting covenant,
1 John 3:20
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart,
and knoweth all things.
Revelation 19:1
And after these things I heard a great voice of much people
in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour,
and power, unto the Lord our God:
Our God deserves great praise
Revelation 19:5
And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God,
all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and
great.

Here
is a great praise to our God
"How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding
out!" Romans 11:33
"Thou, the great, eternal God"
Thou, the great, eternal God,
Art high above our thought!
Worthy to be feared, adored,
By all Thy hands have wrought:
None can with Thyself compare;
Thy glory fills both earth and sky;
We, and all thy creatures, are
As nothing in Thine eyes.
Of Thy great unbounded power
To Thee the praise we give,
Infinitely great, and more
Than heart can e'er conceive:
When Thou wilt to work proceed,
Thy purpose firm none can withstand,
Frustrate the determined deed,
Or stay the almighty hand.
Thou, our God, art wise alone;
Thy counsel doth excel;
Wonderful Thy works we own,
Thy ways unsearchable;
Who can sound the mystery,
Thy judgments' deep abyss explain,
Thine, whose eyes in darkness see,
And search the heart of man?

"God and our Father: To Whom be glory for ever."
Galatians 1:4-5
"To God be the glory"
To God be the glory, great things He has done;
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
